Important Notice to Our Guests
Tuckkwiowhum Campground will be closed until August 31, 2026, while we assess and repair damages caused by the wildfire.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this temporary closure may cause and appreciate your understanding as we work to ensure the campground is safe and ready for our guests.
The reopening date will depend on Highway 1 reopening through the canyon and being confirmed safe for travel, as well as all evacuation orders and alerts in the area being lifted.
Existing Reservations
If you have already made a reservation for a stay during the closure period, we can offer you the following options:
- Reschedule your visit to a later date, subject to availability; or
- Receive a full refund for your reservation.

Welcome to Tuckkwiowhum Campground
Tuckkwiowhum Campground is owned by Boston Bar First Nation and was established in the late 1970’s. Located a scenic 40 minutes north of Hope through the stunning Fraser Canyon and 5 minutes south of Boston Bar, we are waiting to welcome you to our campground nestled between the mighty Fraser River and Anderson Creek.
Our facilities offer beautiful mature trees, mountain, river and creek views. Why not consider connecting with nature and family in comfort and style in our serviced and unserviced RV sites or picturesque tenting sites.

We have 38 sites waiting for you to choose – carefully spread over three areas with their own diverse and inviting, unique features: the central area, the river area and the creek area.
The central area has 23 sites while the river sites host 10 sites and there are 5 remaining sites at the creek area. Each campsite has a fire pit and a picnic table. Extra picnic tables are available on request for larger groups. We have flush toilets and showers for our guest use.
Travelling with your pets? We know our furry friends are parts of our family. All pets must be on leashes at all times, except at Anderson Creek’s sandbars where dogs may be unleashed but must remain under control at all times. While we know there are many sizes, breeds and temperaments of dogs, the leash rule applies to them all.
